HANNAH<br \/>\nHi, I\u2019m Dr. Hannah. It isn\u2019t my professional name. It\u2019s what some of my patients call me. I\u2019m one of a dying breed of independent solo private practitioners remaining in America. I am a cancer surgeon. Trained in Gynecologic Oncology at Harvard\u2019s Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, I have a strong background in surgical oncology, genetics and molecular biology. I am also a cook \u2013 just a home cook \u2013 but I am as passionate about food as I am about helping women fight cancer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>WHAT\u2019S SO SPECIAL ABOUT DR. HANNAH?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I practice in farm country. Years ago, I resisted the trend consolidating healthcare into a giant machine. I walked away from the medical production line and began my own practice of Gynecologic Oncology in rural Eastern Long Island.
